The latest update in Outpost 19 introduces fully functional defense towers with forcefields, adding a new level of strategy and teamwork to the game, with more upgrades coming soon.
With this new update, towers are here to bring a whole new level of strategy and patience to Outpost 19. You can’t just dash across the map and start blasting the enemy HQ. You’ll need to build up, upgrade your weapons, and team up with your squad to take down enemy towers. Charging in solo won’t get you far—you’ve got to work together to make your attacks count.
Without the forcefield, players could just snipe the towers from a distance, and that would defeat the whole purpose of tower defense. Now, you’ve got to get up close and personal to destroy a tower, which adds some real risk. On the flip side, your towers’ forcefields give you a safe space to regroup when the enemy pushes in.
The towers are a big part of how Outpost 19 plays. They force you to take a more thoughtful approach—rushing won’t cut it anymore. You’ll need to group up and coordinate your attacks to break through the enemy defenses. Teamwork is the name of the game here.
We’ve got even more in store for towers in future updates. Soon, you’ll be able to upgrade both the forcefields and the tower weapons, giving you more ways to outsmart and outlast the enemy on the battlefield.
