Smaller Map, Bigger Fights

We’ve scaled the map down — and it’s a game-changer. The old version was too big, leading to long stretches of walking and not enough action. Now, every step feels more meaningful. You’ll get into fights quicker, leave your outpost with confidence, and spend less time wandering and more time playing. Outpost 19 is all about fun, focus, and forward momentum — and this update brings us a big step closer.

Outpost 19 just got tighter — and way more intense. We’ve scaled the map down to cut the downtime and dial up the action. The old layout was too spread out, leading to slow starts and too much wandering. With this update, players can engage faster, push out from their outpost with purpose, and get into the fight without slogging across empty terrain. Gameplay comes first, and this change brings us one big step closer to the fun, focused experience we’re building Outpost around.

Why Smaller?

The previous map felt too wide for the pace we want in Outpost. Players were spending too much time walking, not enough time playing. A tighter map means you’re in the action sooner, and every decision — push or hold — feels more immediate.

What Changes?

We didn’t add anything fancy. We just made the map smaller — and it works. You’ll leave your outpost and run into meaningful moments faster. Exploration still matters, but now it’s leaner and more exciting.

The Big Picture

This isn’t about just resizing terrain. It’s about dialing in the feel of Outpost 19. Fast fights, smart plays, and less waiting around. The smaller map is a huge step forward, and internal feedback’s been unanimous: this just feels better.
